JAKARTA, Yuris Muda Indonesia – The National Police Headquarters dispatched a team to audit the traces of the investigation process carried out by the North Luwu Police in handling cases of alleged rape experienced by three minors, but the investigation was instead stopped.

Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Pol. Rusdi Hartono said that his party will provide assistance to investigators if later this investigation will be carried out again if there is new evidence.

“Police Headquarters in this case the National Police-Criminal Investigation Unit has dispatched a team to the South Sulawesi Regional Police, especially at the East Luwu Police Station, where the team will conduct an audit of the police measures that have been taken by investigators in handling this case,” said Rusdi at Headquarters. Police, South Jakarta, Sunday (10/10).

Rusdi claims that the dispatch of this team indicates that the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police is serious about investigating this case.

According to Rusdi, the police also held a meeting with the parents of three minors who were suspected of being raped. The mother, as the reporter, has also been given an understanding of the continuation of the case.

“East Luwu Police Chief AKBP Silvester Simamora has taken steps to stay in touch with the victim’s parents, met with the victim’s mother explaining the steps that had been taken by the East Luwu Police for the case, and the victim’s mother understood these steps. Communication can also run well, “explained Rusdi.

Previously, the South Sulawesi Regional Police (Polda) ensured that the legal process and the results of the post-mortem for three children suspected of being raped by their father with the initials SA in 2019 in East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, were in accordance with the procedure.

However, the South Sulawesi Regional Police said they were ready to open a case of alleged rape of 3 children which was stopped by the East Luwu District Police in 2019.
