Regarding this quarantine violation case, the Director of Prevention and Control of Directly Infectious Diseases (P2PML) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, Dr. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, stated that the government would never tolerate any form of effort to violate health protocols and health quarantine.

In Article 93 of Law no. 6 of 2018 concerning Quarantine, it is stated that:
